I Want My Goodbye Back written by Pat Bunch, Doug Johnson and Dave Berg recorded by Ty Herndon During the summer of 1995 a funny, 'Forgive Me I Was Wrong.' song came over the air waves and took my quite by surprise. First, it doesn't take the task of apologizing very seriously, which is a strike against it in my book and secondly, it was a quick, rocky song and I'm a slow, ballad music man. The music, however was wonderful, the lyrics where hilarious and the story described the kind of apologies that never work down to a tee. Instead of asking for another chance the singer, in this song, demands one. The song I'm talking about, of course, was 'I Want My Goodbye Back'. The original recording artist that introduced it to the world was Ty Herndon. Written by Pat Bunch, Doug Johnson and Dave Berg the lyrics are well put together and suit to speed and style of the music perfectly. This is a really great Country Music tune and makes a great piece to impress your friends with. As to whether it impresses the girls... I don't know about that... At any rate, here is my attempt at covering this song, Check it out.

Autoharp: Green Door (Including lyrics and chords) Jan's challenge on UK Autoharps for July was "colours". I have uploaded this song accompanied on my guitar, but decided to give it a go on the autoharp for this challenge. Only four chords needed which for me are: F; F7; Bb; and C7. "Green Door" was written by Bob “Hutch” Davie and Marvin Moore. It was recorded by Jim Lowe in 1956 in USA, and by Frankie Vaughan in the UK and re-recorded by Shakin’ Stevens in 1981. I have based my interpretation on the Frankie Vaughan version which is the first one I remember hearing back in the days of "steam radio", or "wireless". :-)

I Need You Hope you enjoy this new video for this song from deep in my archives. There has only ever been one prior recording of this song, recorded live onto cassette in 1985 and performed on an out-of-tune piano. This is track #7 on my newest album, Wind Designs, Vol. III and currently my second most popular on Spotify. Many thanks for over 4000 listens to songs from my new album on Spotify. With more time, I would have changed the words, but here is the song as originally contemplated when I wrote it in 1985. Music, lyrics, recording, video and all component videos copyright ©℗ 2019 Ted Poulsen and Ted Poulsen Productions, LLC. Today we fondly remember Robertas Slavenas, a good man and fine musician. Many prayers for he and his family. Thank you for stopping by

Deed I Do in Chet Atkins style arranged by Dan Mitchell guitarist My version is different from most guitar arrangements because I change key and use the galloping guitar. "'Deed I Do" is a 1926 jazz standard composed by Fred Rose with lyrics by Walter Hirsch. It was introduced by vaudeville performer S. L. Stambaugh and popularized by Ben Bernie's recording. It was recorded by influential clarinetist and bandleader Benny Goodman as his debut recording in December 1926 with Ben Pollack and His Californians. Ruth Etting's rendition of the song became a top ten hit in 1927 as did the version by Johnny Marvin.
